Brad Ewing:

President of Slung! Suspended Systems Corp. and co founder of Atlas Meridian Glassworks Inc., Brad, together with his brother Brent developed the Slung! system based upon decades of experience. A glazier by trade but a visionary by intellect, Brad instinctively knew that the systems he worked with could be improved. That vision resulted in several Slung! patents. To accomplish his marketing goals, Brad "knew from the beginning we would need first-class, talented partners... Phalanx Distribution Corp. was the obvious answer."

Dal Brickenden:

As Director of Strategy and Communications for Slung!, Dal will call upon a career in International trade, new product development, marketing and communications. His international career began in the Export Dept. of Robin Hood Multifoods, Montreal. He was transferred when he proposed the formation of the International Trading Div. of International Multifoods, Minneapolis where he became New Products Manager. He returned to Canada as New Products Manager for CPC international /Best Foods at the time of the launch of Skippy peanut butter. Dal held senior account positions with top advertising agencies in Toronto (Corby), New York (Colgate Palmolive) and ultimately as Executive Vice-President and a senior partner in the leading Vancouver firm of Kenmuir Brickenden Jones Ltd. (now Cossette Communications).

Brent Ewing:

Vice-President of Product Development at Slung! Suspended Systems Corp. Brent is a graduate of the BCIT Building Technology program, a co-owner of Atlas Meridian Glassworks Inc., and co-inventor of the Slung! Suspended System. With this incredibly innovative technician, his motto of "Do it right" usually means figuring out how to do it better. Brent is a member of the Glazing Contractors Assoc. of B.C. He believes, "our mission is to perfect what we do best."

Bruce Hewson:

Slung! Suspended System Corp.'s Vice President of Design. Bruce is the principal of Hewson Design Associates, an award-winning industrial design firm with unique contributions in aviation, water purification, marine, photography, electronic equipment and controls and many other industries. Bruce's specialty is however in secondary manufacturing particularly involving extruded and molded metals and plastics.

Having worked on the design of Slung! Suspended System since its inception, his innovations are key to Slung! leadership in the critical area of large and heavy panel technology. Counting many international firms as clients, Bruce has won two National Industrial Design Awards and recently won the Design and Engineering Award at the innovators Consumers Electronics Show for Parkside's Lenspen. He places "Slung! design; out of the box but, in the groove".

Jessica Murphy:

A director of Slung! Suspended Systems Corp, Jessica is an alumna of the UBC Faculties of English and Law. She practiced law for fifteen years prior to turning her attention to real estate development. Jessica's talent is found in her ability to visualize potential problems and to develop the process to avoid those problems. She is a founder and past Chair of the Oliver Economic Development Society and is a Steward and member of the Board of Directors of Okanagan Partnership.

Solveig Brickenden:

Treasurer and a director of Slung! Suspended Systems Corp. Solveig is equally comfortable and valuable in the administration of large or small corporations. She retired from Telus having served in the community affairs, customer relations and escalated complaint resolution as Executive Assistant to the President. The human relationship skills she honed at Telus have been used to good effect as President of Crosshairs Consulting Corporation of Canada Inc., and C4 Strategy, an in-demand marketing/communications consulting firm established in 2003.

Andrew Currie:

Andrew Currie: As CAD/CAM Specialist who brings the Design team 14 years of programming expertise and over 25 years in the manual and CNC machining. He worked with EBCO Aerospace and Zum Hingst Technologies programming and machining large structural and small, high tolerance parts. This unique blend of hands on and mechanized contributions to craftsmanship compliments the design and production strategies at Slung!

Andrew makes a vital contribution to critical areas such as maintaining the tight tolerances essential to deliver product quality and strength. Since joining Slung!, Andrew has extended the force of the R&D team at Slung! and continues to push his peers to perform at the highest levels.

Slung! Registered Installers:

Due to the quality demands of our design partners and the customized nature of our offerings, all Slung! installations are fulfilled by local, independent Slung! Registered Installers. This network of industry specialists is managed by Slung!'s exclusive marketing and distribution partners, Phalanx Distribution Corp. to ensure the timely satisfaction of all expectations and consistent quality. As Phalanx was formed for that sole task, it has the dedication and focus to achieve objectives at the high standards to which Slung! is accustom.

Phalanx Distribution

Phalanx Distribution Corp. is the exclusive, worldwide distributor of Slung Systems and will manage the marketing, advertising, distribution, sales, billing, installation and warranty services of the Slung brand.

Phalanx will build and manage a network of independent Registered Agencies and Installation Partners throughout North America. In managing the distribution channels, Phalanx will interface with architects, designers and high-end builders to inform and educate them on the superior features and benefits Slung's brand of high-end top-hung doors offer.
