The History

The Slung! innovation team brought the industry knowledge of two generations of glazing specialists together with the talents of an award winning Industrial Designer under the corporate umbrella, Slung Suspended Systems Corp. and the trade mark Slung!. The result was a startling advance in the size and weight handling capacities, as needed, to realize the modern visions of today's leading architects and designers.

The sophisticated and patented Slung! suspension system makes light work of large and heavy doors, windows and movable wall panels. Early innovations were quickly followed by patents for steel-cored doors designed to carry paradigm changing weights and patents for new hardware specifically developed to secure and protect all your most important investments. Subsequent research advancements realized patents for the unique Slung! Draining Sill System, which allows for increased design freedoms in exterior applications.

Such innovation in product design called for new and expanded levels of distribution and high levels of service desired by the discerning market we serve. Thus, a highly specialized team was called together to form Phalanx Distribution Corp. Just as the name implies "a band of people gathered together for a specific purpose", the sole purpose of Phalanx is to fulfill those high service expectations.
