Exterior Pocket Door (Open Buttress or Wing)

Slung! exterior doors can utilize an external pocket that is a wall-like protrusion and extends beyond the building envelope on the same plane as the system. When the system is open, the pocket conceals the system and disguises the doors as a wall extension or a fence when closed, giving more flexibility in design over more typical exterior doors.

Disappearing Garage

Garage doors usually detract from exterior style and design of homes. A Slung! System, using Exterior Pocket Doors and solid panels can be integrated with mock windows and treatment. Design a garage door, which when closed disappears into the exterior design of the home and is concealed by the exterior pocket when open. In certain Slung! applications, a greater amount of deflection is realized due to unlimited system width which often is dealt with by interrupting the exterior doors with a structural support wall or beam. Using the strength found within Slung!'s steel frame, structural support can be hidden within one or more fixed panels.
